26th March  at 10.00am Reptile Survey. Dunwich.  Booking is essential via website contacts page e-mail group.

11th April  from 3.30pm to 9.30pm Ponds and Amphibians. Practical and theory training for surveying ponds . The training covers information in the methods, tips and practicallities of assessing ponds for native wildlife (mainly amphibians)and recording. This training runs from 3.30pm to late evening near Middleton. Booking is essential via website contacts page e-mail group.

14th April from 7.00pm to 9.30pmSurveying for Amphibians.  Pratical and theory for surveying water bodies for amphibians. The training with cover search methods used to find and identify local amphibians (smooth newt, common frog , common toad and great crested newt) and recording them.  The training will take place early evening to finish late evening  near Mellis. Booking is essential via website contacts page e-mail group.

6th May from 7.00pm to 9.45pmSurveying for Amphibians. Pratical and theory for surveying water bodies for amphibians. 28th March at 2.30pm (Ipswich), April date to be confirmed.  2011 Chytrid Swab.  SARG will be continuing its participation in the national project investigating chytrid fungus in UK amphibians.  We will be taking swab samples from two sites, one near Ipswich, the other near Bury St. Edmunds.
